Each day you get five historical events. For each one, tap the spot on the world map where you think it happened — you're scored on how close you land and how quickly you answer. Five questions a day, the same five for everyone worldwide.
No. The daily round is free and playable with no account. Sign in with Apple or Google only if you want a leaderboard rank or to sync your stats across devices.
Pro is an auto-renewing subscription at $0.99/month. It unlocks the archive (play any previous day's round) and randomized rounds drawn from questions already served in past daily rounds. The daily round and the global daily leaderboard are always free.
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID, not inside Whereupon. On your iPhone: open Settings → your name → Subscriptions, select Whereupon, and you can change or cancel there. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the current period ends.
Sign in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe and open the Pro screen — your subscription is restored automatically through Apple. If it doesn't appear, tap "Restore Purchases" on the Pro screen.
In the app, go to Profile → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and all data tied to it — your guesses, scores, and any notification token. It cannot be undone. (Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription; manage that through Apple as above.)
That's the point — one shared round per day means the leaderboard actually compares everyone on the same five questions. The day rolls over at midnight US Eastern (05:00 UTC).
